Chorine is found in abundance in nature. However, it is most commonly found in combination with something else. This is because of the nature of chlorine. It is an extremely reactive single atom and therefore very easily combines with something else. Once in water, chlorine forms atoms charged which eagerly attaches itself algae, bacteria and other microorganisms found in the water. Thus, chlorine tablets are one of the most inexpensive and easily available pool chemical that can be used for the sanitization of pool water. Thus, chlorine tablets are available in different formulations and sizes and their usage will depend upon the amount of water in the pool. The size of the tablet that you use will depend upon the period for which you need to keep the pool clean.
A 3- inch chlorine tablet for instance dissolves slowly into the water ensuring a steady supply of chlorine to the water which will help in long term pool maintenance. 3 chlorine also helps to maintain the correct alkalinity level and pH balance of the water which is a crucial to pool water maintenance. Since direct contact with chlorine is not very good for the skin, the use of 3 inch chlorine tablets is highly recommended which can be fed in through the water inlet pipes and purifiers.
Thus 3 chlorine is a very essential pool chemical that keeps the water uncontaminated and the swimming pool clean.
